Yellow
This poem is a work in progress about the day the dandelions bloomed
Today is my favorite day of the year
After a season of grey and rain and snow
a sudden violent explosion of yellow in the fields
Clusters of dandelions in bloom bursting out of the green
and concrete
and gravel
and other unexpected corners of the world
Petals of trees blowing in the breeze
leaving their branches
which are waiting to be over burden with the fruits of their pollination.
Today has been my favorite day is
T the day that God reminded me beauty is here.
